Researching causality, time, computation and intelligent systems.
scroll downCall me Z. I'm a physicist (in)by training, independent researcher, research engineer & founder @ Ontologic Labs. Projects under Ontologic include latexify.ai. My work is driven by a fascination in how observers, time, and histories constrain what is possible.
I ponder on Artificial Superintelligence, Time & Causality and Observers & Memory. I am cooking across all these topics — follow Ontologic down the rabbit hole if you want to come along.
How observers, time, and histories constrain what is possible — and what can be computed, predicted, and known.

I founded Ontologic Labs to build Ontologic Intelligence. Shifting AI away from association and towards causal modeling, building the reasoning layer for decision-grade AI in high-stakes environments.
Decisions stay auditable, uncertainty is first-class, and a "what if" could make all the difference.
I'm looking for companions: investors, researchers, builders and operators who value clarity and ownership. If you're interested, email me.
If you want to work on latexify.ai, or on Ontologic directly, write me.
If you want to follow Ontologic, and know what's coming, join the list.

Causal models that move beyond pattern matching—memory architectures and cycle-aware reasoning for inference under structural ambiguity.
Engineering that uses LLMs for exponential productivity—turning capability into leverage, and leverage into shipped commercial solutions that scale. Released latexify.ai and (soon) VoicePrompt.
Studying how observers, memory, and temporal ordering constrain fundamental theories across quantum foundations, cognitive science, and computer science. Investigating how the consistency of records defines what can be computed, predicted, and ultimately known.
